What Is Leopard?

Leopard, also known as Mac OS X version 10.5, is Apple's newest user friendly operating system. It is available as a desktop version as well as personal computers and servers.  It has approximately 300 updated features from its predecessor, Tiger, including redesigned Docks, Stacks, a menu bar, and an updated Finder.  In addition to new attributes that were not originally available, new applications such as Time Machine, a file backup and recovery system, and Back to My Mac, which allows users to access their home computer while they are away, were also added.

Leopard's efficiency provides Apple Computer users with more security, backup, and networking capabilities, as well as improved desktop user friendliness and workplace integration. Newer editing features also make it easier for musicians, artists, photographers, web designers, and business owners to manage and create the highest quality products and services.
