Macs Are Windows Compatible
If you have a Mac desktop or notebook, but prefer to work with the Windows operating system, then you are in luck. Most people don't associate the Windows operating system or Microsoft Office applications with a Mac computer. The truth is, Macs have evolved over the years and can now support the same operating systems and applications as a PC, making the Mac a serious competitor in the PC world. You can even get the best of both worlds by running Mac OS X and Windows side by side on the same computer. All you need is the Parallels Desktop for Mac, or VMware Fusion. In addition to running the competition's operating system, Macs will also support Microsoft Office applications. Any other applications that are Windows-only can be added with the help of an application called Boot Camp. You shouldn't have any trouble connecting your PC accessories, such as cameras, printers, or keyboards to your Mac either. Most devices will work with a Mac just by plugging them in to the desktop or notebook. The Mac takes over by opening the correct application, and asking you what you want to do once it's connected. This seamless PC integration is another of the many innovations that prove the endless adaptability that comes with using a Mac.
