Shipping Box Practically Ensured Damage April 30, 2017
Reviewer: Paul Tatara from New York City
The box my IMac was shipped in was not appropriate for such a fragile item.  When I opened the box, which was slightly crushed in one corner, the screen of the iMac itself was in pieces and I could see the underlying circuitry!  The Mac was bubble-wrapped, but not enough to support UPS dropping the box roughly, which appears to be what happened.  I want to stress that customer service at Mac of All Trades was very understanding, and they sent me a return UPS label so I could send the computer back for a full refund.  Still, I was unnerved by all of this.  Somebody dropped the ball in a big way. I added more bubble wrap before my return shipment, and actually started to tear the corner of the box with the extra pressure of pushing in the wrap!  I'm not saying you shouldn't use Mac of All Trades, but you might want to specifically request a box that will properly protect the item you've purchased.  This all just ended up being a disappointing waste of time for me.
