How To Package and Ship Your Mac
Step 1: Use a heavy corrugated cardboard box with plenty of extra space to add protective material and a weight capacity that exceeds your Mac and its peripherals. Make sure to cover up any old shipping labels that remain on the outside of your box.
Step 2: Wrap your Mac in bubble wrap, or any other material that will provide a cushion, and place it in your cardboard box. Your mouse, keyboard, and any peripherals should be wrapped separately, then set next to your Mac.
Step 3: Fill any open space in the box with polystyrene "noodles," bubble wrap, or crinkled newspaper to make sure the Mac and its peripherals will not move inside the box.
Step 4: Put the shipping and return information on the outside of the box, as well as an extra shipping label inside of the box. Include your telephone number on the shipping label for quick contact.
Step 5: Seal the box with strong or reinforced packaging tape, making sure to cover all seams, then write FRAGILE on all sides of the box.
