Warranty Information
All equipment is in good to excellent condition (based on the age of the machine), carries a 30-day hardware warranty, and is reconditioned (cleaned and tested) by our Apple Certified Technicians. We run Apple Service Diagnostics (ASD) on every machine. Items with remaining Apple Limited or AppleCare Extended warranties are covered by Apple as the primary service provider. All transactions are charged a $15 handling fee as part of the shipping. Canceled or undelivered orders are charged a 10% restocking fee. This decreases to 3% if the order has not been shipped. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Computers ship with an operating system loaded (the version of the OS is denoted in each listing's description). Sales are not contingent on software. Notebooks include an AC adapter and working battery. Batteries are consumables and their life span not guaranteed. All sales are final.
The warranty begins the date the order is delivered. In the rare event a hardware problem occurs during our warranty period, a RMA# (Repair Merchandise Authorization Number) must be requested via email through Customer Service. You must email a description of the hardware problem for documentation and quality assurance purposes. The Mac of All Trades Warranty only covers repair service provided at our location. Buyers pay incoming freight for RMA service. Mac of All Trades then pays for shipping back to the buyer. Items arriving for RMA service must: a) be repackaged properly, insured, and include all original items b) have the RMA# visible on the outside of each package c) have an RMA shipment tracking # emailed to Customer Service before the warranty expiration date. Failure to follow any of these steps can render your equipment ineligible for repair. RMA service covers parts and labor. RMA services DOES NOT cover software issues, such as corruption of the Operating System or software incompatibility. Our warranty is voided if authorized RMA: a) # is never issued b) is not in original condition c) has been serviced by a 3rd party d) is the result of accidental, cosmetic, or liquid damage. Please back up your machine prior to RMA service. Mac of All Trades is not responsible for your data. Mac of All Trades may hold you responsible for a diagnostic fee and/or shipping costs if the issue is not able to be duplicated or is found to be software or do to neglect or damage. If whole unit was replaced under 30-Day Warranty, new 30-Day Warranty will begin upon receipt of replacement unit. If unit replaced under Extended Warranty, warranty continues from original date of receipt. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAC OF ALL TRADES, WILL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM PERFORMANCE OF ANY REPAIR SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO, OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; OR ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, PROGRAMMING, OR RESTORING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED OR USED WITH YOUR PRODUCT AND ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA STORED ON YOUR PRODUCT. MAC OF ALL TRADES SPECIFICALLY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO (i) REPAIR OR REPLACE YOUR PRODUCT WITHOUT RISK TO OR LOSS OF PROGRAMS OR DATA, AND (ii) MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA. IF ANY PRODUCT SHOULD BE DAMAGED OR LOST WHILE IN MAC OF ALL TRADES’S CUSTODY, MAC OF ALL TRADES’S LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE COST OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE AFFECTED PRODUCT. OTHERWISE, MAC OF ALL TRADES’S LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGE SHALL IN NO EVENT EXCEED THE PAYMENTS RECEIVED BY MAC OF ALL TRADES FOR SERVICES PROVIDED PURSUANT TO THESE TERMS. THE REMEDIES SET FORTH HEREIN SHALL BE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES FOR ANY BREACH BY MAC OF ALL TRADES UNDER THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. MAC OF ALL TRADES IS NOT LIABLE FOR LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA OR YOUR CONFIDENTIAL, PROPRIETARY OR PERSONAL INFORMATION OR REMOVABLE DATA. BEFORE YOU BRING IN YOUR PRODUCT FOR ANY REPAIR SERVICE, YOU SHOULD MAKE A BACKUP COPY OF YOUR DATA AND REMOVE ANY CONFIDENTIAL, PROPRIETARY OR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND REMOVABLE MEDIA SUCH AS
CDS OR PC CARDS.
We reserve the right to refuse any order not meeting our security system criteria.
Limitation of Liability
Mac of All Trades shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if Mac of All Trades has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Typographical Errors
In the event that a Mac of All Trades product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Mac of All Trades reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Mac of All Trades reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Mac of All Trades shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Term; Termination
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by Mac of All Trades without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.

Mac of All Trades may deliver notice to you by means of e-mail, a general notice on the site, or by other reliable method to the address you have provided to Mac of All Trades.
Miscellaneous
Your use of this site shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the state of California, U.S.A., without regard to choice of law provisions, and not by the 1980 U.N. Convention on contracts for the international sale of goods. You agree that jurisdiction over and venue in any legal proceeding directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to this site (including but not limited to the purchase of Mac of All Trades products) shall be in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the site (including but not limited to the purchase of Mac of All Trades products) must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises. Mac of All Trades's failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Neither the course of conduct between the parties nor trade practice shall act to modify any of these terms and conditions. Mac of All Trades may assign its rights and duties under this Agreement to any party at any time without notice to you.
Use of Site
Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including a Mac of All Trades or other licensed employee, host, or representative, as well as other members or visitors on the site is prohibited.
