Return and Exchange Warranty Policy

General Information

  • The warranty begins the date the item is delivered. All items come with a 90-day hardware warranty.
  • Customers may request a return or exchange by starting a support ticket by clicking here or calling Customer Service at 813-925-1181 (9:30-5:00, M-F, EST).
  • Data transfer or recovery are not covered under our warranty.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Return Policy

If a return for Refund is requested within seven (7) days of delivery, the buyer receives a refund for 100% of the purchase price less the original shipping charges.

If a return for Refund is requested after seven (7) days but within 90-days of delivery, the buyer is subject to a 15% restocking fee less the original shipping charges.

Refunds are processed within three (3) business days of receipt and inspection. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility. Refunds to American Express are subject to an additional 3.5% processing fee.

If you receive an item damaged in transit, please contact customer service within three (3) days of delivery. Return Ground shipping is covered by mac of all trades.

Exchange Policy

If a Return for Exchange is requested within 90-days of delivery, return shipping is covered by the buyer. Once the equipment is received and inspected, a replacement unit of the same specifications is shipped within three (3) business days.

Mac of all trades covers shipping back to the buyer.

All warranty service is performed at our facility in Tampa, FL.

Price Protection Policy

Prices fluctuate based on supply and demand. If a product purchased within seven (7) days drops in price, a credit can be requested for the difference (based on the same configuration) by contacting Customer Service.

Extended Warranties

Mac of all trades offers 1-year and 2-year Extended Warranties. If purchased, return Ground shipping is covered by mac of all trades. Extended Warranties can be purchased anytime within our 90-day Warranty period.

Our warranties do NOT cover:

  • Software issues: including missing or altered user data. The customer is responsible for backing up their data prior to sending the product for service.
  • Buyer negligence (i.e. liquid damage, accidental damage, power surges.)
  • Diagnostic and/or repair fees by a third-party.

Exclusions and Limitations

Warranties apply only to hardware products purchased from mac of all trades (MOAT) that can be identified by the serial number on file. MOAT is not liable for any damage to or loss of any programs, data, or other information stored on any media, or any non-Apple product or part not covered by this warranty. Recovery and reinstallation of system and application software and user data are not covered under warranty. This warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, misapplication, or peripherals; (b) to damage caused by service performed by anyone not approved by MOAT, or (c) if any Apple serial number has been removed or defaced.

THESE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. MOAT SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF MOAT CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES UNDER THESE WARRANTIES, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.

No MOAT employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty.

MOAT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, DOWNTIME, GOODWILL, DAMAGE TO OR REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH PURCHASED PRODUCTS, AND ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA STORED ON THE PRODUCT. MOAT SPECIFICALLY DOES NOT REPRESENT THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR MAKE A PRODUCT EXCHANGE WITHOUT RISK TO OR LOSS OF PROGRAMS OR DATA.
