Perfect December 11, 2016

Really loving it. The case is in perfect shape. Booted right up and the installation was simple. I am using a Windows keyboard and mouse with 3 other computers (Mac, Windows and Linux) via a USB switch and it's all working great. I received the Mac as promised and am very happy with their service.

A full-powered Mac at a budget price October 22, 2016

This Mac mini, with 8gb RAM preforms well in all normal tasks; word processing, internet. It runs Civilization 5 on good graphics without lag, and I can even leave a user account logged in and running iTunss (for home sharing) and switch users to preform tasks without significant delay. Setting up the computer was easy, and it handles Sierra like it was built to.
We had trouble with the original Mac mouse wired and keyboard we chose. Don't get these, the first ones failed right out of the box, and the replacement mouse's scroll ball is acting up (intermittently unresponsive when scrolling down). Dont buy a used wired Mac mouse and keyboard, try something else.
Mac of all trades also made a mistake by shipping 4gb RAM when we purchased 8, but they were quick to correct the mistake and their customer service was easy to work with. The computer does run on 4Gb, even with Sierra, but the 8 is really worth it.

Not a rip off April 4, 2016

This Mac Mini may be slightly higher priced andxa bit older however in comparing the specs processors, memory, hard drive you'll notice the one on Apple's site is not as powerful in the processor theirs is a 1.4 GHz compared to the on here that is 2.5 GHz same amount of RAM, and Hard drive space. True the newer inevitable s on fact new as well comes with an Apple 1 year warranty. So, it comes down to new verus older and warranty and faster processors .bit simply because it is 4 years old I would knock 100 to 200 off the price at the most

While I agree that for a 4+ year-old Mac, $599 is a bit high (these were selling for about that much when they were new), this Mac Mini is a better machine than the latest Mac Mini model (2014).

The reason for this is: You can upgrade nearly everything on this model (RAM, storage, processor if you know what you're doing). But the latest 2014 models (like all newest Apple products) have soldered mounts and are impossible to upgrade.

So IMHO it's not a ripoff at all; it's a good price!
