Good Transaction October 15, 2014
Reviewer: Mark Goldman from Aspen Hill, MD United States
I had a 2008 Macbook Pro and I cracked the screen.  They had a reconditioned one in stock which I bought.  It fired right up, with a good battery.  I swapped the screens on the machines so I could keep all my innards and memory.  Attached the bad screen to the computer and sent it off for a screen repair.  All in all a good transaction.  My only little nit was the packaging.  The computer was very well wrapped in an air bag.  The box it came in was much larger so the computer slid around in the box.  No damage, but a little additional packing material would have solved this.

Buy used and save! June 4, 2013

I needed a laptop with a FireWire 400 interface for my audio interface device. Went with a 2008 MacBook Pro. With 4GB of Memory and a 640GB hard drive, I have a capable machine at a fraction of the cost of a new machine.  I was able to get the MacBook Pro and the 4th gen iPad for the same price as a new 13" MacBook Pro.
