Beyond Awesome! December 15, 2014
Reviewer: Bob Black from Beaverton, OR United States
I have been a PC guy for 25+ years and have worked on and built Windows desktop to servers and thought I had seen the best and the worst hardware builds.
When I got the Mac Pro and opened up the cover, I was blown away. I had been working on Chevys and Fords and here was a Rolls Royce! Without a doubt, THE best engineered and assembled computer I have ever seen! Yes, they are expensive, but then the best quality usually is.
The fact that I can upgrade the processors to more current (faster) 6-core processors and load it with as much memory as I could possibly need is just icing on the cake.
The very minor case scratches are of little concern and if that were a deal breaker, it would be relatively easy to sand them out of the nearly 1/8 inch thick aluminum case!
I have absolutely no regrets regarding my purchase. Just upgraded the OS to Yosemite for free. I did have to pay ~$80 to load up on iLife and iWork apps, but in comparison with M$ pricing - it was nothing!

Except for some minor scratches on the casing, the MacPro booted fine and performed as expected.  It was promptly delivered and the carton packing was excellent.
